Computer Aided Drafting & Design

Computer Aided Drafting & Design
CADD is a technology used to create precision drawings or technical illustrations. CADD combines art and technology, allowing professionals to design and visualize projects in various fields, including architecture, engineering, and manufacturing.
I took two semester’s of Drafting in 1974 while in high school. I also took two semester’s of Electronics while in high school from 75-76. I had decided to go into the Navy while in the ninth grade and graduated 120 of 306 nearly on purpose. I did quite well in the courses that I wanted to take and average in pretty much everything else.
I later took Basic Drafting in “88” for my Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology A.A.S. My original intention was to take AutoCAD but I ended up selling my new complete Tandy 1000 computer system (along with printer) just weeks after unboxing it , due to a cancer scare that I had without insurance. I sold it quite rapidly at 25% off after posting it on physical college bulletin boards. Then I was evicted from my really small nice apartment for being a day or two late on my payment, due to all of that. So much fun…Ha Ha!
Fast forward, many decades later, I found Texas State Technical College to learn CADD at 65+.
